Safeguarding

Safeguarding at SKCC

At SKCC, we are committed to creating a safe, caring and welcoming environment for everyone. The safeguarding of children, young people and adults at risk is a responsibility we take seriously and a priority in all areas of church life.

We have a comprehensive Safeguarding Policy which is regularly reviewed and updated. Those serving in paid or voluntary roles involving children, young people or adults at risk are supported through safer recruitment procedures, appropriate Disclosure and Barring Service (DBS) checks where required, and safeguarding training relevant to their responsibilities.

Our Safeguarding Policy Statement can be downloaded using the link at the bottom of this page. A copy of our full Safeguarding Policy is available on request from the church office. Please email hello@skcc.info
