What is WOW?????

WOW stands for Women Of Worth and is for every woman in South Kent Community Church because, whether 16 or 106, she is a Woman of Worth, which is something to celebrate.

To have close relationships is something we would all like but sometimes we can feel quite isolated. Life is so full with often no time to nurture any existing relationships or to form new ones. It is also good to be able to encourage and support each other in our day-to-day walk with the Lord, and WOW exists to help SKCC women to develop and grow in these areas.

How and When?!

WOW meets every few months, usually on a Friday evening. These times are to enable closer growth, the strengthening of existing relationships and the forming of new ones. At some point in the future it is hope to also have some outreach events too.

As well as the evening events, WOW also has two Saturdays set aside each year, one in the autumn and one in the spring. Called Oasis Days these days are intended to be just that. Days when you can just stop for a while and relax. Unhurried times where it is possible to enjoy each others’ company and hear from God. Our friends at Ashford Community Church and Romney Marsh Christian Fellowship are also invited to these days as are any personal friends SKCC women might like to invite.
